DVB monomer is a reactive monomer composed primarily of divinylbenzene and ethylvinylbenzene
isomers.Primary applications have been in synthesis of ion-exchange resins and production of
unsaturated polyester resins and casting resins where DVB is used as a cross-linking agent to provide
rigidity.
